Five for Friday: November 1st Check out this new Clipartist!

So many busy and new things have been going on during the last week in October!  I can't believe our first ten weeks of school has almost ended!  I'm linking up with DOODLE BUGS for a Five for Friday, but this week, mine is only 3 because my CUSE is in the HOUSE tonight and I am running to the DOME to get my cheer on!

1)  My super awesome brother in law started a clipart store, Messare Clips & Design on Teacher Pay Teachers.  People, he is so amazing and talented, I wanted to give him a shout out on my blog.  Stop by and visit him, you will not be disappointed!
Check out some the cute things he has made!  I love the turkey, and the squirrel!

and these owls... how cute!

Plus this cornucopia  has fabulous colors.  If you are looking for something new for a product, stop by and check out his store.

2)  I've been working through inequalities this week in school.  This can really be tough for my smarties.  I put together a foldable for them to help them learn to graph, and I've created some word problems to help them too.  I'm going to hopefully post them in my store a little later this weekend, a few things need some tweaking after I used it this week in my classroom.

3)  SU hoops start tonight!  I'm headed to the Dome as soon as I finish up this post!  Go CUSE!

Off to watch this great team!  Check out the awesome clipart above, and check back in a few days about my inequalities work if you need it!  Enjoy your weekend!

  1. Hi, Michele!

I checked out the Messare Clips & Design site---that guy is talented! I have a feeling he'll do very well! That kind of thing is so difficult to find---that you for the referral!

I run the blog at Team Building Activities for Kids Central . com, and was wondering if you would like me to write a guest post for you---maybe about how teamwork affects class participation, or about team artwork projects, or something else (any requests?). I figure it might be a good fit for your readers.

If that sounds like a good idea, please let me know (you can reach me at matt @ teambuildingactivitiesforkidscentral . com).

And---oh my gosh I shouldn't mention this---I'm a Villanova guy, so I can't say "Go 'Cuse!" so I will say, instead, have fun in the classroom before the holidays!

    Matt
